First of all it’s important to mention that I have never attended bible college or seminary. I am not a priest, pastor or doctor of anything and I can’t spell to save my life. I’m just a man who has experienced grace. I am extremely passionate about relationship issues and am committed to “Comfort as I have been comforted.” 2 Corinthians 1:4. The advice given in this blog is not intended to replace professional counselling by qualified individuals.
I have enlisted the help of a pastor to check each post for biblical accuracy and a professional counsellor to advise me on the content. Their willingness to take the time to do so is very much appreciated.
The situations and character types in this blog are designed to engage and connect with you on a deep and sometimes painful emotional level. Having said that, I would be honoured to have you join me on this journey of healing. It is my sincere hope that as you read through these posts you will gain knowledge and insight into the truth and wisely apply it to your own unique relationships. Above all, I pray you come to know and experience true peace and that you can write your own happy ending.

Vlog
I have been involved in children’s ministry for over 30 years. Doing short children’s features and object lessons for the next generation of believers is near and dear to my heart. I have read that we retain about 5% of what we hear, but 40% of what we see & hear. Kids are so easy to “wow.” I sometimes use magic tricks to convey a gospel message, however, I always call them illusions, not magic. Theses 3 – 5 minute videos are always entertaining and appeal to both children and adults alike. With the start of the Covid 19 pandemic and the temporary closer of our Church I began to produce these features at home and posting them to YouTube. Over time I have purchased better equipment which has greatly improved each finished production.

I love to laugh, especially at myself. This fact comes across in all my videos and has proven to be an effective way of communicating God’s love to a world in turmoil. We continue to produce a new feature every week so be sure to bookmark Lord Of The Family or add us to your home screen. Subscribe to our YouTube channel and hit that little bell to be notified when we post our next video.
